Parent Council Members,

1. The School Board has rescheduled it's Teletown Hall meeting to Wednesday, November 12, 7:00pm. Additional information will be provided when available.

2. ACPS issued a news release regarding the long-range master facilities planning process, which begins this month with Phase I, the Southern Feeder Pattern.

3. Cathy Von Storch (PC rep to Red Hill) shares the following information regarding the Paramount Theater's Educational Performances, as well as the attached document:

The Paramount Theater's first two of eight "educational" performances of the 2008-2009 Season are coming up in November. All 8 will be presented during the school day, and are already just about full with students from Albemarle County, Charlottesville City, surrounding areas, homeschools and private schools – approximately 9000 children (and teachers) thus far!! Most of these educational performances will also be presented to the public at an evening or matinee hour.

Please note November performances for the public in the enclosed attachment, and that thanks to generous contributions from our community, The Paramount has been able to significantly reduce ticket prices for these performances to make them more affordable for families to attend. Please share this following information with your PTO. If possible, please also submit to be included in your school newsletter.
